Dear Student,
Let rate of the reactipn 
r= K[A]^n [B]^y 
r1 = K[a]^n[b]^y 
r2= K[a]^n[2b]^y = r1/4 
( r1/4)/r1= 2^y 
Thus, 2^y = ¼ 
In this way y= - 2 
Henceforth the ans is - 2 .
