The maximum work done by system in any process is called gibb's free energy. 
Applying sign convention → delta G = -Wmax
By the concept of electricity , we know that work done by battery(V volt) in moving a charge q is qV.
In case of galvanic cell charge transferred =nF
So, here delta G = -nFEcell
