Defects are not the permanent ones. It can’t be calculateed as through the fixed estimation.
But however p.f and v.f can be caluclated by applying the formulae => z * Volume of atoms/volume of unit cell.
And the void fraction becomes as,
v.f. = 1 – p.f.
