N atom in (SiH3)3 N is sp2 hybridized with a lone pair of electrons in 2p orbitals which can be transferred to the empty d orbital of Si atom. This reduced the electron density over N atoms and thus reduced its basic strength255-540_Untitled.pngIn case of (CH3)3 N, there is no sucj transfer of electrons from N to the C atoms.255-1230_Untitled.png

As the hybridisation of (CH3)3N is sp3, the l.p of the N atom exist in sp3 hybrid orbital. So the l.p is more reactive... So in reaction with hcl it can for adduct , by donting its l.p . But for (SiH3)3N the hybridisation is sp2 . And the l.p situates in p orbital... And in reaction with HCl it produces NH4Cl and SiH3Cl.
(CH3)3N + HCl - (CH3)3N(+)Cl(-)
(SiH3)3N +HCl - NH4Cl + SiH3Cl
