CO + 2H2 ------ CH3-OH   deltaG0=-24.8 kJ
PH2=2 atm
PCO= 4 atm
PCH3-OH= 2 atm

you are giving delta G value as -24.8KJ and you are asking to calculate it again.plz chech the question

Sir, its delta G0 not delta G. 
I think sir in that que there is diff formula for this que.
Sir When you got that formula plz answer me.

i think the data given in the ques is insufficient , 
beacuse the delta G0 given by you is not mentioned to be of product or reactant . 
to calculate delta G u need to apply the below formula 
delta g = delta g0 (product) – delta g0 (reactant ) 
or u can use the following formula 
delta g = H – TS 
but as per the ques none of the formula are satisfied , so, kindly recheck the ques 
and do get back to us .
