Molarity is defined as the number of moles of solute per litre of solution.

 

Molarity=no of moles of solute/volume of solution in litre

molarity is defined as the no. of moles of the solute in 1L of the solution. It is denoted as  'c'.

Molarity of a solution=(number of moles of dissolved  solute)/(number of litres of solvent.
