it is known that exothermic reactions are favoured by low temperatures.then why high temperature is favourable for chemical adsorption?and why it is irreversible?

Chemical adsorption is highly specific meaning it occurs only when there is possibility of some strong chemical bonding

once chemical bonds are formed stability is attained and hence generally it doesnt reverse 2 form reactants again

though chemi-adsorption is exo- thermic it has high energy of activation meaning large amt of energy is required to initiate the reaction hence higher temp are favourable.....

hope it was helpfull
