suppose we take a liquid in the container at a given temp. & cover the surface with a thin glass plate(of negligible weight)& make a small hole in it (bigger than molecular size), will the vapour pressure of the liquid still be a constant?

Now in such case the vapour pressure of the liquid will not be same rather it will be more...
