Sir, please explain me the diff between radial and angular nodes.

Also, how to find the no of maximas in the graph of (psi)square and r for p, d and f orbitals in different shells. Please help me. i direly need to clear these doubts.

Dear rishabh,

radial node = n - L - 1 ,

where n = principle quantum no.

L = azimuthal quantum no.

Angular node = L 

and  net node = n - 1
