Therefore the last (outermost) electrons of Zn are located in 4s orbital.

Now, the quantum numbers:

Principal quantum number describes the shell of the electron.
n = 4

Azimuthal quantum number describes the subshell of the electron. Since we specify the e- in s-subshell,
l = 0

Magnetic quantum number describes the type of the orbital of the electron. The e- is in s orbital, therefore,
m = 1

Each orbital can hold maximum 2 e- with opposite spins. These are represented as +1/2 and -1/2.
Since, Zn has 2e- in its outermost shell, one of them will have
