Due to less +I effect of one alkyl group there is less negative charge over oxygen atom hence primary alcohol easily loose H ion but in secondary alcohol due to greater + I effect of two alkyl groups there is more negative charge over oxygen atom hence does not loose H ion easily.
so primary alcohol is more reactive than secondary alcohol.
