The Reaction in which rate of the reaction is independent of the concentration of the reacting
substances is called zero order reaction.
E.g. Decomposition of ammonia gas on hot platinum surface
2NH3 (g) ⎯⎯ N2 (g) + 3H2 (g) ,

Rate = k [NH3]o
