The ease of e – addition for the following elements, will be in order of I → X(g) + e – → X – (g) ∆H = +50 kJ / mol II → Y(g) + e – → Y – (g) EA = +100 kJ / mol III → Z(g) + e – → Z – (g) ∆H = –150 kJ / mol

The ease of e addition for the following elements, will be in order of
I → X(g) + e → X(g)
∆H = +50 kJ / mol
II → Y(g) + e → Y(g)
EA = +100 kJ / mol
III → Z(g) + e → Z(g)
∆H = –150 kJ / mol

the ∂H value being more negetive the ∂G value will be more negetive..... all of them being gases randomness and correspondingly the entropy are nearly equal. hence the order should be, i think, 3>1>2

more the negetive value of ∂G more spontaneous the reaction is..... being all gases the entropy values lie close. And the values of respective ∂H gives the order to be , I think, 3>1>2
