Resonance energy is directly proportional the stability of compunds.
hence in last option Benzene is more stable as due to aromaticity  that is:
4n + 2 elctrons govening.

In case of D part, i.e- benzyl benzene, due the the individual electronic delocalisation in benzene rings, the molecule gets stability.But in naphthalene, an electron pair is common to both. And so stability in one ring destabilises the another, and thats why the overall stability of the system is less than benzylbenzene. And in part E, benzene ring has 6 electron that satisfies the condition of aromaticity of being 4n+2 electrons, and also having ring current. That special stability is not there in case of open system.
