Hy mamoni The correct answer is 3 as their is very large difference in ionisation enthalpies of 3rd and 4th electron... Since their is so large difference it means it should have 3 electrons in its orbit after loosing 3 electrons it attains noble gas configuration... Therfore high energy is required to loose the next electron.. Hope U like it..
