A C-H bond is weaker than a C-D bond. (in bond-strength)This bond-strengthening is due to more electro-negativity of D than H. The reason of EN difference lies in the higher mass of D and T nuclei than H, which reduces radius of electron etc

D is dielectric constant not deutetium....please explain in terms of dielectric constant and dipole moment
