Neutral solution is a solution which is neither acidic nor basic.It is found that when a drop of base is added to a neutral solution whose pH=7,the solution will become more blue.
If a base is added to an acidic solution,the solution becomes less acidic and moves toward the middle of the pH scale.This is called neutralizing the acid.For ex- adding the base sodium carbonate to the citric acid solution makes it lesser acidic.
