See first you identify the chrial centre or which contains at least one c-atom with 4 non-identical substituents .Such carbon atom is called chrial centre.So, carbon in that chrial centre is called chrial carbon. Carbon with double or triple bond are not chrial as they can`t have bonds to four different groups and also in all straight chain alkyl group , carbon will not be chrial because these groups have two or more identical groups attached to carbon...
