When warmed with chloroform in the presence of alc. KOH, aniline gives offensivesmell of isocyanides while N-methyl aniline does not give this test.

Dyes test .....it gives positive test for aromatic amines..... since here aniline is aromatic where as n-methyl aniline isn`t .....therefore we can differentiate them by Dyes Test
