Only Aldehydes containing alpha Hydrogen ( acidic Hydrogen ) give positive results with Fehling’s Test (Formaldehyde also gives positive results ).
This is because Rate-Determining step of the reaction is the formation of enolate .

But Benzaldehyde doesn’t possess an alpha hydrogen and hence does not give positive results to Fehling’s test under normal conditions. This is also true in other cases of aldehyde not possessing alpha hydrogen except formaldehyde.
