Hi

Solomons is a nice book for preparing organic for JEE . But i would still suggest u to go for reaction mechanisms by Peter Sykes.

Its a book just for the rxn mechanisms and wud help u understand rxns better . To understand organic better u need to study mechanism rather than just mugging up the rxns.

If u want to get the info about some other books that can be used as reference then visit www.askiitians.com/Important-books-iit-jee.aspx .

yaaa, its a nice book for organic chem.   but one must also follow ncert,,,, bcoz sumtimes very minute concepts are there in the book,, used by jee-experts,,,

so ithink some structures & even reactions must be read frm ncert

bye,, tc, gud luck
