Given, P^3 = Q^3
We can write it as:
P^3 – Q^3 = (P – Q)(P^2 + Q^2 + PQ)
Given P is not equal to Q.
Therfore,
(P^2 + Q^2 + PQ) = 0
or
P^2 + Q^2 = -PQ
Now again in,
P^2Q – Q^2P = 0
We can write it as:
PQ(P – Q) = 0
P is not equal to Q that is given therfore,
PQ should be zero.
Hence,
P^2 + Q^2 = 0 is the required answer.
