Because both the sleeds are in opposite directions
Hence let us assume one side is positive hence other will be negative
Let us assume 80km/hr is positive
Hence aleed of B will be - 20km/hr
Now relative velocity of A w.r.t. B = vel of A - vel of B
= 80 - (-20)
= 100 km/hr
