When the particle collides with incline plane,
Horizontal speed remains same i.e; 5m/s.

And due to falling height '’h'’, particle will gain vertical speed \sqrt{2gh }.

And at the instant particle collides with the incline , net velocity of the particle is perpendicular to plane. So, resolve particle's horizontal and vertical velocity along and perpendicular to the plane. Particles velocity parallel to the plane should be ZERO.

5cos30 = \sqrt{2gh } Sin 30
solving we get
h = 3.75m
