Dear KSR,
As far as my knowledge is concern,
No the frictional force is not zero, there is some frictional force acting.
For example,
A cycle after pedalling for some time it moves with some velocity after pedalling,
Slowly we see that the cycle starts to slow down this is due to frictional force acting by road.
As told by bhavani frictional force depends on the normal reaction.
