let the hight of the cone is h,then we know that center of mass of cone lie at h/4 distance from the base of the cone

so { 4/3 π r3 ρ} * r  ={ ρπ r2h/3 }*h/4

Is mg considered in horizontal circular motion? If yes or no then why?
Mg has no role in horizontal circular motion as the whole motion takes place in horizontl frame and mg always acts downwards. Hence, Balancing the forces, T = mv^2/r (horizontal force).
