```				   an ideal spring has an extension a when the tension in it is 4N.it length is b when tension is 5N.what is length when tension is 9 n
```

```										Dear jauneet
let the natural length of spring is l
then F =kx
4 = k*a
k=4/a
and agian  F=kx
5 = k(b-l)
5=4/a (b-l)
b-l = 5a/4
l= b-5a/4
let the length is x when tension is 9N
9 = 4/a (x-l)
9a/4 = x- (b-5a/4)
x = b-5a/4 +9a/4
=b-a
In x-y plane the position coordinates of a particle as a function of time t a is given as x=3t-4t^2 and y=4t+2t^2. The inetial velocity of particle makes an angle with x axis ?
We know that So and So we know initial velocity velocity in x direction = 3 velocity in y direction = 4 We know So
Is mg considered in horizontal circular motion? If yes or no then why?
Mg has no role in horizontal circular motion as the whole motion takes place in horizontl frame and mg always acts downwards. Hence, Balancing the forces, T = mv^2/r (horizontal force).
‘n' identical cells are joined in series with two cells A and B with reverse polarities. Calculate the potential difference across the cell A and B .
Asuming internal resistances be r and emf e for each cell joined in series. then Total emf = ne total resistance = nr Total Potential Differnce, (n-2)e – 2e = e(n-4) V = ir + e = 2e(1-2/n)
