Resultant has a magnitude of  = Underoot(2^2 + 2^2 + 2.2.2cos60'')

                                                       = Underoot(8 +8 x 1/2)

                                                       = Underoot(12)

                                                       = 2root3 m/s.

it is a simple case of vector addition.

the resultant velocity of the particle is 4cos(θ/2) = 2√3 cm/s.

this resultant velocity vector bisects the angle between the two individual velocities.
