An aeroplane is moving with uniform speed of 100km h along the circumference of a cirle .What is the change in velocity in half the revolution?(karnataka cet 2000)

Please help me to solve the problem.

Dear student,

Half the revolution is pir*radius

Velocity=displacement/time

initial direction and final direction are opposite. hence,change in velocity =   +200kmh  or -200kmh

The magnitude of velocity will not chnage. Only its direction will be reversed. Since, its direction depends on the tangent of the circle at that point.
