sir please explain what is angular momentum (with formula)?

like we have the linear momentum, same way in rotation we have the angular momentum... In all cases this is conserved as you have been doing with linear momentum...

 

Angular Momentum for a body is-- Iω .. where I is the moment of inertia and ω is the angular velocity...

for a point mass, angular momentum is-- MVR or MR2(since V=rω).. where M is mass, V is linear velocity, R is the radius...

 

In a rolling motion... angular momentum is defined as

 

L=Iω+mvr
