yes , to get 90 + in jee mains , u need to start with ncert , and there is no need to do the ncert exempler if u have shortage of time , thats for board exam , just after ncert take out the previous 5-6 years ques paper and practice it , if u have time left go with 2-3 mock test to boost your confidence . 
and for physics , no need to study ncert , just read out h c verma , and take out prev year ques and then if time left , then take out askiitians mock test . 
for maths , u can take s l loney for trigo , and m l khanna for rest topics ,
