you have to qualify jee advanced to enter into iit , not mains ,
with mains you can get only nit and iiit , not iit .
and about the ranks , that you have to check with the website ,
that varies acc to your choice of branch ,

You will not get IIT by the jee mains score you only and NITs IIITs and some others Government college you should give Jee advance for admission in IIT. And score 40% for IIT kharagpur
