what do you mean by %age?

if you mean it to the percentage of marks, then it is not samw always.

it depends on the number of people taking the test can the scores secured by them.

but yes there are cutoffs which are as follows for the IIT Jee-2010

subject cut-offs in physics, chemistry and math this year are 19, 19 and 17

aggregate cut off, 2010: 190

2009: 178.

percentage of selection of iit is based on the castes.if u are sc or st the % will be more for u.for obc less compared to it.
