i have got AIR 6691 & i want to have mechanical ? Should I prepare for drop or i have some possibilities for it?

with this rank ,you will not get mechanical in IITs, but you have chances to get in ISMU dhanbad.
I will suggest you not to drop.you have many other good option besides mechanical .you can go for that option.
but if you want to do only mechanical then u can drop and prepear well for next year.
