integration of  ((|x|)/([x]) from (1,9)..

Answers : (1)

throughout the range of x, mod(x)=x, I=∫(x/[x])dx from 1 to 9, =∫(x/[x])dx from 1 to 2...from 8 to 9

∑(((i+1)2-i2)/2)/i    from i=1 to i=8

=3/2 + 5/4 +7/6 +9/8 = 121/24

From any point on the line 2x + y = 1, tangents are drawn to the circle x^2 +y^2 = 9, then the chords of contact pass through a fixed point (A) (18, 9) (B) (9, 18) (C) (9,9) (D) (18,18)
Assume that point in parametric form on line 2x + y = 1 as: (x , 1-2x) and apply chords of contact concept here that is: T = 0. and put the point (x,1-2x). and try to satisfy the options...

Two vectors A &B lie in a plane , another vector C lies outside this plane then the resultant of these three vetors i.e., A+B+C?
The resaultant can never be equal to zero .because two planar vectors can add up,but the third one has none to counter balance,to make it canceled .so it can never be zero if A,B,C non zero ...
