Yes d-d orbitals also overlap to form a special bond known as delta bond... It is stronger than pie bond and it is generally formed in metal metal bond... Complex compound of cobalt which has more than one central metal ion forms delta bond... Approve it if the answer is correct

But d-d orbitals do not overlap to form sigma bond........ NOť less than 100 char.................. As dd orbital cannot overlap head on..
