Two persons of masses M1 and M2 are standing on a smooth surface facing each other holding a massless rope in their hands. If they pull each other with a force `F` they meet each other (`d` is the initial distance between them)I am attaching the optio

Since no external force acts on the system as a whole, centre of mass remains constant. Dist. where they meet=m2d/m1+m2 from m1. Hope this helps. Best of luck!
