sir don,t mind please. my question is Question 1; In cathode ray tube when pressure is reduced to 0.001 mmHg, original uniform glow disappear and the whole tube is filled up by dark space? Q 2; At this stage(above mentioned) the electrical resistance between the anode and cathode becomes very high and it becomes difficult to maintain the discharge, untill the potential difference between the anode and cathode is very high?

Geiger-Muller reaction happens as some molecules got ionized and further electrons got free producing an avalanche effect, recombination of ions with electrons emits light, original uniform glow disappear and the whole tube is filled up by dark space
