HaiThese are two concept often used interchangeably, but represent two different things. Conformation regards the relative spacial orientation of a molecule. Thus it is an aspect which is not correctly related to covalent bond. But configuration is concept that is related to order by which different substituents linked to the central atom establish covalent bonds
