You have to provide phase in aqueous phase Al3+ >Al+ >Al2+ is order of stability but in gaseous state it will change

By doing this it is going close to Nobel gas configuration which is most stable state for Al.therefore aluminium shows this stability order Al3+>Al2+>Al+.
