Dear student,

You first construct the Lewis diagram, then look at the number of bonds and lone pairs.…

Sulfur gets to be the central atom since it has the lower electronegativity of either S or O. (H can't be a central atom.)

Since there are only four pairs of electrons around the sulfur, then the electron pair geometry for sulfur is tetrahedral. And since there are four bonding pairs and no lone pairs, the molecular geometry is also tetrahedral.
