				   If the density of methanol is 0793 kg per L , what is its volume needed for making 25 L of its 025 M solution? Explain in detail

6 years ago

Answers : (1)

Derar vivek,

Molecular weight of Methanol(CH3OH) = 32

density = 0793 Kg/L =0.793 Kg/L (i dont think it is 793 Kg/L)

Mass in 25 L of its solutions is = 0.793*25 = 19.825 Kg

Molarity = Grams/(Molecular Weight X Volume)

Volume = Grams/(Molecular Weight X Molarity)

Volume = 24.7 L (considering density = 0.793 kg/L)

I want to know, Effective atomic number of Cu2+ion in CuSO4.5H2O complex, how to calculate ?
EAN = metal electrons + Ligands + Charge and Electronic configuration of Cu2+ = 1s2 2s2 2p6 3s2 3p6 4s0 3d9 Hence, => 9 + (5 + 1) + 2 = > 17. that would be the EAN number perhaps for Cu2+.
