the series mentioned above is a A.G.P series i.e arithmetic and geometric series.. 
to find sum of such series first of all you have to find it’s nth term..
the nth term for this series will be =n.2n-1   now put sigma in this term so... it will give 
{n(n+1)}/2 . {1.2n-1}/2-1  ==>  n=100 ….==>  {100 X 101}/2  . {1.299}/1  ==> 2525 . 2100 .. this will be the answer
