Everyone has a unique approach to attempt JEE paper. However, some of themost common IIT JEE tips that are employed by almost everybody are:
• Try different exam strategies and time management tips in the model papers and sample papers during JEE preparation. These may include elimination approach, dimension analysis etc. (Read 15 tips to cheat at IIT JEE MCQs ). It will make you aware of your strong and weak points too.
• Start with the subject you find easiest to boost up your confidence.
• Do not waste too much time on any question in the first attempt. Mark responses to the easy ones and if you cannot think of the concept on which the question is based within 10-15 seconds, move on.
• When you read a question, underline the important facts. It will keep you more focused ad help you avoid silly mistakes such as using wrong numerical values. This works only for pen-and-paper based exam though.
• Do rough work neatly and mention the question number too. This will come in handy, when you are reviewing the paper.
