mathematics and computing is a dream branch for those people who tend to go for further research or professorship in IITs or IVY league foreign universities...it has a huge amount of research going on in foreign countries espacially germany. placements in some company or organisation wont fetch you the profit you will get by joining this branch because this branch demands scientific people to excel...if you really need good placements in multinational corps then i would tell you to rather go for cse in trichy or allahabad ... but then to research hsa a lot of opportunities and very interesting from my view point hence you shud stay with your msc programme...
