the most important part of succeeding in iit is more often than not neglected by students ie reading ncert textbooks.the latest pattern emphasises the need to thorougly going through ncert book especially in chemistry and practising ncert problems physics is a must . also books like hc verma , gc aggarwal are also good .

so all the best!
