for mechanical engineering, the rank depends on what college you want to take admission.


you can find starting and closing rank for mech. engg. in different iits from this link

Hi Without any doubt you should go to IIT Kharagpur (Mechanical) , It’s a better option than other two. IIT Kharagpur is a better reputed college and Mechanical is a better branch.

Pease compare ITM, Gurgaon and NIEC (IPU) in terms of FACULTY, QUALITY OF EDUCATION AND PLACEMENT RECORD . I am from Delhi and getting CSE in both.
 
 
NIEC is far better than ITM..Faculty in NIET IS BEST IN INDIA AND PLACEMENTS ARE ALSO VERY DECENT.Go ahead....!!!!!
