AWheatstone bridgeis an electrical circuit used to measure an unknownelectrical resistanceby balancing two legs of a bridge circuit, one leg of which includes the unknown component. The primary benefit of a wheatstone bridge is its ability to provide extremely accurate measurements (in contrast with something like a simple voltage divider). Its operation is similar to the originalpotentiometer. It was invented bySamuel Hunter Christiein 1833 and improved and popularized by SirCharles Wheatstonein 1843. One of the Wheatstone bridge's initial uses was for the purpose of soils analysis and comparison.

I think Miss. Apoorva missed answering the condition for a balanced Wheatstone bridge asked here.

The condition for a balanced Wheatstone Bridge is that the deflection of the galvanometer must be zero as there must not be any current flowing through the galvanometer.
