Sol. a ⃗ is a vector of magnitude 4.5 unit due north. (a) 3 |a ⃗ | = 3 x 4.5 = 13.5 3 a ⃗ is along north having magnitude 13.5 units. -4 a ⃗ is a vector of magnitude 6 unit due south.
