The three identical dipoles are placed in such a way that they are at the corners of an equilateral triangle.And O is a point passing through the equatorial line. So electric field of a point that passes through equatorial line is,
E=\frac{1}{4\pi \varepsilon_{0} }\frac{p}{r^{3}}
E=\frac{kp}{r^{3}}

Answer is zero given... I also not able to get the concept... earlier i was also getting the same ans as you got.. But in the ans key answer is zero
